Shashwati Herbal Products started as a simple idea: skin and hair care shouldn't need a chemistry degree to understand. Every bar, gel, oil and serum we make starts with a whole ingredient — a root, a flower, a fruit — not a lab-built compound with a long name.
Long before "clean beauty" was a marketing term, Ayurveda had already worked out what turmeric, neem, manjishtha and saffron could do for skin and hair. We didn't invent these ingredients — we just kept using them, the way households across India always have, and shaped them into products for a shelf instead of a kitchen counter.
That means our hair oils are still hot-pressed, our soaps are still hand-poured into their molds, and our facial gels still start with a fruit or flower you'd recognise, not a list of unpronounceable actives.
If it's on the label, it's genuinely in the jar — no filler actives standing in for the herb they're named after.
We make in small runs so nothing sits on a shelf long enough to need heavy-duty preservatives.
Our hair colour is PPD and ammonia-free, and our cleansers skip parabens across the board.
We'd rather tell you a gel takes a few weeks to show results than promise something it can't do overnight.
Every product page lists exactly what's in it — no guesswork.
